After a string of 15 wins, Crescenta Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the La Canada Spartans. The shutout was out of character for the Falcons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Crescenta Valley's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for La Canada, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescenta Valley will host Valencia at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for La Canada, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Pasadena at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
