Topsail won the last time they faced West Brunswick and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates blew past the Trojans 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-16, 25-7.
Sarah Cutler paced Topsail's offense, picking up seven kills. Cutler got some help from Hannah Losey and her 17 assists. Losey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
Topsail has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for West Brunswick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Topsail will face off against South Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Brunswick, they will challenge Ashley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
