Basketball Recap: T.W. Andrews Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask T.W. Andrews). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Morehead Panthers 77-3. The Red Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 31 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Janiya Milligan, who posted 19 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Journie Barr, who had 16 points and three steals.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.5 points per game. As for Morehead, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

T.W. Andrews will face off against High Point Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Morehead, they will challenge Reidsville at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
