Volleyball Game Preview: Smithtown East Bulls vs. Comsewogue Warriors + How To Watch

The Smithtown East Bulls will square off against the Comsewogue Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Comsewogue took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Smithtown East, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Smithtown East earned a 3-1 victory over Ward Melville. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulls.

The win didn't come easy: Ward Melville scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-27, 25-19, 25-18.

Smithtown East found their leader in freshman Rosemarie Remsen, who had 11 digs and three aces. Kaylie Castaneda also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Meanwhile, Comsewogue lost 3-0 to Smithtown West back in September. The Warriors have struggled against Smithtown West recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-6, 25-20.

Comsewogue's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Smithtown East, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3-5.
