Volleyball Recap: Calvin Christian's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

The Calvin Christian Crusaders beat the Army-Navy Warriors 3-1 on Thursday.

Calvin Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Army-Navy still got an impressive performance from Sean Germani, who had 36 digs. Germani is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Calvin Christian's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11. As for Army-Navy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
