Softball Recap: El Dorado Comes Up Short

El Dorado fell victim to Arkansas and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Razorbacks. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Razorbacks: they've now lost six in a row.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Arkansas, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

El Dorado and Arkansas could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. The Wildcats will square off against Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (154 vs. 12). Meanwhile, Arkansas (ranked 88th) will meet Fouke (ranked 26th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
