Volleyball Recap: Abundant Life Takes a Loss

Abundant Life's tournament run continued when they took on Fennimore on Saturday. The Challengers fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Sarah Rae paced Abundant Life's offense, picking up nine kills. Rae got some help from Emma Nolke and her 22 assists. Finally, Mari Wetzel kept Abundant Life's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Abundant Life's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fennimore, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Abundant Life didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Poynette on the 30th. Hopefully Fennimore paid attention to the Challengers' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Challengers at 2:02 p.m. on Saturday.
