Baseball Recap: St. Bernard's Central Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Bernard's Central Catholic lost against Bromfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bernardians fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1.

Ethan Lewis was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April.

St. Bernard's Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Bromfield, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Bernard's Central Catholic will take on Trivium at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bromfield, they will welcome West Boylston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
