Palisades scaled the state rankings by moving to 146 from 207 this week, the biggest jump in Colonial. The Pirates were able to move up by defeating Pine Grove 10-6.
Southern Lehigh extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Pottsville, 27-3. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Nick Savant was a passing and rushing force as Saucon Valley bested Jim Thorpe. Savant's favorite target this week was Mike Kane, who caught 3 passes for 48 yards.
Savant was a force in the backfield as the Panthers defeated the Olympians.
Ryan Hunt put up the best numbers in passing as Pen Argyl fell to Catasauqua. He finished with 6 completions for 149 yards and 1 touchdown. Hunt's favorite target this week was Chris Muller, who caught 3 passes for 96 yards.
The Green Knights' Hunt and Nick Oyer led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Hunt has thrown for 1,139 yards this season, while Oyer has 24 catches for 674 yards. Saucon Valley's Savant leads the league in rushing yards with 1,871.
A big matchup in Colonial this week will be when Palisades takes on the Rough Riders. Kevin Ronalds' team is currently in fourth, while Catasauqua is in second.
The Pirates and the Cardinals played the most contested game in the league this week, with the Pirates eventually emerging with a 10-6 victory.
