Sandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of Nelson by a score of 14-13. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sandy of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Kendall Wickizer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Dakota Mannor, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
