Volleyball Recap: Durand Takes a Loss

Durand lost against Genoa-Kingston back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cogs by a score of 2-1.

Lola Robertson paced Durand's offense, picking up 15 kills. Robertson got some help from Mary Jane Norman and her 15 assists. Maddy Moore controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Durand's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Genoa-Kingston, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Durand didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Orangeville on the 9th. As for Genoa-Kingston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Richmond-Burton on the 9th.
