Baseball Recap: Springtown Porcupines vs. Burleson Elks
Springtown kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Burleson Elks by a score of 10-9. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Porcupines of the 4-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.
Springtown got a good showing from Keegan Martinez, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
