The Baldwin Braves are taking a road trip to challenge the Sandy Creek Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Sandy Creek will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Baldwin extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Braves blew past Howard 5-1. Five seems to be a good number for Baldwin as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Sandy Creek kept a clean sheet against Lithia Springs last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 10-0 win. It was an even better day for Natalie Winfrey as she scored three goals for her team.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Sandy Creek, bringing their record up to 15-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Baldwin, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
