Recap: Perkins-Tryon vs. Hennessey
Perkins-Tryon had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Hennessey 15-14. That result is just more of the same for Perkins-Tryon, who also won the last time these teams played.
Perkins-Tryon got off to a sluggish start, posting 6 total points in the first half. That left them at a 6-14 disadvantage. In the second half, however, Perkins-Tryon's defense made a stand and allowed a meager 0 points. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Perkins-Tryon will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Cushing at 7:00 PM. Hennessey will look to defend their home turf next week against Kingfisher at 7:30 PM.
