Piedmont's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons by a score of 7-4. Surprisingly, this marked the Highlanders' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

George Bishop looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Markos Lagios was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Diego Delventhal, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one double.

Piedmont has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Bishop O'Dowd, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13-1 record this season.

Piedmont will have a chance to go back-to-back against Bishop O'Dowd: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
