Basketball Game Preview: King & Queen Central Royal Tigers vs. Charles City Panthers

King & Queen Central and Charles City are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Charles City Panthers at 6:15 p.m. King & Queen Central is looking for their season's first win.

Last Friday, King & Queen Central ended up a good deal behind Northumberland and lost 46-29.

Janiya Brown put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. That was a full 51.7% of King & Queen Central's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Meanwhile, Charles City came up short against Cumberland on Friday, falling 53-29.

Charles City now has a losing record at 3-4. As for King & Queen Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

King & Queen Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Charles City when the teams last played back in February, winning 49-37. Does King & Queen Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Charles City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
