Basketball Recap: Fenel Eugene's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Master's Academy over Boca Raton Christian

Master's Academy lost against Boca Raton Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Master's Academy Patriots lost to the Boca Raton Christian Blazers on the road by a 72-56 margin. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly 16 points.

Master's Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fenel Eugene, who went 6 for 13 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. Jayshawn Troutman was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

It was another big night for Joshua Good, who went 12 of 20 on his way to 32 points along with seven rebounds and six steals for Boca Raton Christian. Good's evening made it 18 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jack Good also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steals of the season.

Master's Academy dropped their record down to 4-20 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Boca Raton Christian, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Master's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 77-48 defeat against St. Edward's on the 3rd. As for Boca Raton Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-80 loss against Highlands Christian on the 3rd.
