Volleyball Recap: Park Tudor Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Park Tudor can now relate to. They came up short against the Monrovia Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2018.

Monrovia was led to victory by Ciara Elliott and Allie Kizzee. Elliott had ten digs and four aces, while Kizzee had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Elliott has posted over her last eight matches.

This is the second loss in a row for Park Tudor and nudges their season record down to 14-12. As for Monrovia, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-20 record this season.

Park Tudor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monrovia, they will face off against Covenant Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
