Softball Recap: Sloan-Hendrix Takes a Loss

Sloan-Hendrix lost against Walnut Ridge back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greyhounds came up short against the Bobcats, falling 12-3. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sloan-Hendrix saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Bennett, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Sloan-Hendrix's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Walnut Ridge, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sloan-Hendrix will face off against Izard County at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Walnut Ridge, they will take on Harrisburg at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
