Volleyball Recap: Bridgeport Takes a Loss

Bridgeport lost against Frontier last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-12.

Leading Frontier to victory were Willow Smitley and Kenzie Livingston. Smitley had eight aces and five digs, while Livingston had 13 digs and two aces. Livingston is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Bridgeport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Frontier, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, Bridgeport will challenge Bellaire at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frontier, they will square off against Magnolia at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
