Soccer Recap: Cleburne County Comes Up Short

Cleburne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 7-1 to Temple. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Cleburne County was already down 4-0.

Cleburne County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Temple, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Cleburne County duke it out with Weaver at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Temple, they will challenge Pepperell at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Temple is facing Pepperell at the right time seeing as Pepperell is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
