The Wray Eagles will take on the Brush Beetdiggers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wray is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.1 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, Wray got the win against Decatur Community by a conclusive 19-5. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Noah Stults made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Brush won against Platte Valley on Monday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Beetdiggers came out on top in a nail-biter against Strasburg, sneaking past 7-5.
Like Wray, Brush also got a great game from a two-way player: Keeton Jilek. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Jilek has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Dakota Proctor and Landon Mesch did most of the damage at the plate: Proctor went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Mesch went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Brush is undefeated when Mesch posts three or more hits, but 6-9 otherwise.
Wray's victory bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Brush, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Wray has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Brush struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.4 strikeouts.
