Basketball Recap: Caroline Apolenis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mount Airy Christian Academy over Frederick W

After flying high against Covenant Life last Thursday, Mount Airy Christian Academy came back down to earth. Mount Airy Christian Academy lost 46-23 to the Frederick W Warriors on Saturday. Mount Airy Christian Academy has struggled against Frederick W recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Mount Airy Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Caroline Apolenis, who posted five points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Witter, who had three points along with seven boards and five steals.

Mount Airy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Frederick W, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

Mount Airy Christian Academy has already played their next game (against Perry Hall Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
