Volleyball Recap: Crofton Comes Up Short

Crofton was the 2-1 winner over Bloomfield when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Bees by a score of 2-1 on Monday.

Jaisie Janssen paced Crofton's offense, picking up six kills. Janssen got some help from Tylee Cooper and her nine assists. Jaylynn Panning controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Crofton has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Bloomfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Crofton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Creighton on the 14th. As for Bloomfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Wausa on the 14th.
