Desert Pines had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Silverado on Friday. The Jaguars blew past the Skyhawks 7-2. The game was close at halftime, but Desert Pines turned on the heat in the second half with four goals.

Their offense was hitting Silverado from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Arturo Tadeo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Desert Pines' victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
