Soccer Recap: Humboldt Comes Up Short

Humboldt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Como Park Cougars.

Humboldt's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Como Park, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-1.

Looking ahead, Humboldt will venture away from home to challenge Washington Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington Tech will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Humboldt surely won't give up without a fight. As for Como Park, they will be playing at home against Harding at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
