East Kentwood made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Zeeland East, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Chix by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The Falcons have struggled against the Chix recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

East Kentwood's loss dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Zeeland East, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

The Falcons will face off against Forest Hills Central at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (352 vs. 138). Meanwhile, Zeeland East (ranked 96th) will meet Forest Hills Eastern (ranked fifth) at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
