It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lowell ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Acton-Boxborough Revolution 5-4. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with the Revolution recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The victory got Lowell back to even at 4-4. As for Acton-Boxborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lowell will venture away from home to square off against Andover at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Red Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Acton-Boxborough, they will head out on the road to challenge Concord-Carlisle at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
