Baseball Recap: Marble Falls Takes a Loss

Marble Falls and Gatesville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Marble Falls had to settle for second. They fell 7-3 to the Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-2 defeat on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Marble Falls and nudges their season record down to 24-7. As for Gatesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Marble Falls nor Gatesville have any future games scheduled.
