Football Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Valley View extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-8. They took a blow against the Millsap Bulldogs, falling 49-0. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

As for Millsap, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. Considering they have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Millsap found their leader in sophomore Braun Johnson, who rushed for 116 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 113 every time he's taken the field this season. Luke Camarillo was in the mix as well, providing Millsap with one score.

Valley View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-0 defeat against Jacksboro on the 31st. As for Millsap, they have also already played their next contest, a 53-14 loss against City View on the 31st.
