Basketball Recap: Imagine Prep Superstition Panthers vs. Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves

Imagine Prep Superstition was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 64-16 loss at the hands of the Learning Foundation & Performing Arts Wolves . While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 258th, while the Wolves are ranked 49th).

Learning Foundation & Performing Arts found their leader in sophomore Philip Johnson Jr, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson Jr has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Treyvon Suell, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds.

Imagine Prep Superstition's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Imagine Prep Superstition Panthers take on the Ridgeview College Prep Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Learning Foundation & Performing Arts, they will head out to face off against ASU Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
