Baseball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Calvary Christian Academy's offense. They came up short against the Hancock Panthers on Friday, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, Calvary Christian Academy's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Calvary Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley O'Brien, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Calvary Christian Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will challenge Shalom Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hancock, they will square off against Berkeley Springs at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
