Volleyball Recap: Wakefield's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Wakefield had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the St. Xavier Rams on Thursday.

Wakefield not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept St. Xavier between 19 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19.

Wakefield's win bumped their record up to 2-19-1. As for St. Xavier, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wakefield beat the Rams by a score of 2-0 later that day.
