Basketball Recap: Atlanta Jewish Academy Comes Up Short

Atlanta Jewish Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a blow against Rock Springs Christian Academy, falling 56-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguar this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-27 back in January.

Rock Springs Christian Academy was led to victory by Mckinleigh Norwood and Tinley Shiflett. Norwood almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds, while Shiflett dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 boards.

Atlanta Jewish Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlanta Jewish Academy will square off against Furtah Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they will take on Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
