Volleyball Recap: Borden Comes Up Short

After flying high against Charlestown on Tuesday, Borden came back down to earth. The Braves lost 3-0 to the West Washington Senators on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Braves have suffered against the Senators since October 3, 2019.

While Borden was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-18.

Borden's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for West Washington, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.

Coming up, Borden will face off against Corydon Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Washington, they will host Eastern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
