Volleyball Recap: Elkmont Takes a Loss

Elkmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huntsville Panthers.

Huntsville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lacey Hollis, who had seven digs and three aces. Hollis has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Elkmont's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Huntsville, their win bumped their record up to 23-6.

Elkmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy on the 27th. As for Huntsville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against New Hope on the 27th.
