Harrison County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Persinger, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Harrison County pushed their record up to 9-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lloyd Memorial, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Lloyd Memorial couldn't quite finish off Harrison County when the teams last played back in April of 2023 and fell 2-0. Can Lloyd Memorial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
