Volleyball Recap: Wayne Finds Home Court Redemption Against Madison

There's no place like home for Wayne, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Madison Dragons on Saturday. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wayne took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12.

Haley Kramer paced Wayne's offense, picking up six kills. Kramer got some help from Mallory Redden and her 18 assists. Kamden Dobbins controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Wayne's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Madison, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Wayne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Wisner-Pilger on the 27th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Archangels Catholic on the 27th.
