Softball Recap: Beaver Dam Takes a Loss

Beaver Dam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Laughlin Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 on Tuesday.

Beaver Dam's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Laughlin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Beaver Dam will square off against Round Mountain at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Diamondback's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 15.9 runs per game this season. As for Laughlin, they will welcome White Pine at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
