Basketball Recap: Maine Central Institute Comes Up Short

Maine Central Institute was the 29-20 winner over Morse when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Maine Central Institute Huskies took a 48-30 bruising from the Morse Shipbuilders on Tuesday.

Maine Central Institute has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Morse, their record is now 8-11.

When Maine Central Institute and Morse next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Maine Central Institute will try to stop Mount View's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Morse will face off against Erskine Academy and their five-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
