Basketball Game Preview: Dyersburg Trojans vs. Millington Central Trojans

Meanwhile, Millington Central and Munford squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Millington Central had to settle for second. They fell 48-37 to the Cougars.

Dyersburg will need to focus on slowing down Ayanna Ransom, one of several Millington Central players who made an impact when they last played. She posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arianna Whiten, who put up seven points.

Millington Central's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Dyersburg, their win bumped their record up to 26-4.

Everything came up roses for Dyersburg against Millington Central in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, as the team secured a 67-32 victory. In that contest, Dyersburg amassed a halftime lead of 36-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
