Lewis-Palmer had to endure a 17-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by an 18-4 margin over the Coronado Cougars on Tuesday. The Rangers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23rd (when they won 18-3).
Lewis-Palmer got a massive performance out of Jaelynn Bello, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Bello has posted since back in September of 2024. Joella Streeter was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Lewis-Palmer hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 2-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-19. As for Coronado, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
