Volleyball Recap: Mallory Kendrick's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Wylie over Keller

Wylie lost against Keller back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Indians. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mallory Kendrick, who had nine digs and one assist.

Wylie now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Keller, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Looking ahead, Wylie will take on North Forney at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Keller, they will head out on the road to square off against Northwest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
