Basketball Recap: Elkin Comes Up Short

Elkin lost against South Stokes back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Elkin Buckin' Elks received a blow as they fell 54-35 to the South Stokes Sauras. The Buckin' Elks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elkin's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for South Stokes, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-10.

As of now, neither Elkin nor South Stokes have any future games scheduled.
