Millard West is a perfect 10-0 against Burke since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Burke took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Millard West, who comes in off a win.

Millard West is returning to their home court after beating Lincoln Southwest on theirs, despite the fact Lincoln Southwest has dominated at home this season. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Silver Hawks 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Silver Hawks: they've now won three in a row.

Millard West took Lincoln Southwest into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 24-26, 21-19.

Meanwhile, Burke didn't have quite enough to beat Bellevue East on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Chieftains recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Millard West's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Burke, their loss dropped their record down to 7-16.

Millard West beat Burke 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
