Baseball Game Preview: Lake Ridge Eagles vs. North Crowley Panthers

For the second straight game, Lake Ridge will face off against North Crowley. Lake Ridge will welcome North Crowley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Lake Ridge earned an 8-5 win over North Crowley. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Lake Ridge got a great performance from Sean Wilson as he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The dominant performance also gave Wilson a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

At the plate, Jayde Austin was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Jaiden LaCour-Loyd was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Lake Ridge's win bumped their record up to 4-9-3. As for North Crowley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
