Brighton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Brockport Blue Devils on Thursday. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Brighton and bumps their season record up to 10-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Brockport, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Brighton will take on Penfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriots are coming into the matchup with three straight victories on the road, so the Bruins will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Brockport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
