Pasadena Memorial won the last time they faced Crosby and things went their way on Friday too. The Mavericks walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cougars. The win was some much needed relief for the Mavericks as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Pasadena Memorial had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-22.

Addie Dinsdale paced Pasadena Memorial's offense, picking up 29 kills. Dinsdale got some help from Savannah Lott and her 23 assists. Dinsdale was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
