Baseball Recap: Largo Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Largo won the last time they faced Shorecrest Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Packers walked away with a 5-2 win over the Chargers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Packers.

James Price tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over 4.1 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Victor Martinez-Morales, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Largo pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Shorecrest Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
