Football Recap: Tioga Victorious

Tioga had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They managed a 26-22 win over South Prairie/Max on Friday. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 44-18 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Tioga will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Des Lacs-Burlington on September 5. As for South Prairie/Max, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] on Friday.
